George Kunkel, Jr., wrote in March, 2008 issue of water, 50000 found that drinking water services of the United States to withdraw some 40 billion litres of water per day from their sources. This estimate does not take into account that the water used each day, and he does not take into account all the water in the course of preparation in the aquifer and various other sources for irrigation. There would be no exaggeration to say that more than 50 billion litres of water from all available sources.
